FAQs .. Common Questions

Do you provide wifi?

YES. We provide Free coded wifi.


Am I allowed to leave my dog unattended in my unit?

NO. We do not allow dogs to be left unattended in, or outside, your unit as it can cause disturbance to other campers, and is also unfair to the dog.


Where can I exercise my dog?

You may not exercise your dog anywhere on our Park. There are woodland and coastal walks from the Park where your dog can be walked. Please remember that your dog must remain on a short lead at all times.


B.B.Q.s?

B.B.Q.s are allowed on site but must be kept off the grass to prevent damage. Please be prepared for this and provide your own resting blocks, if applicable.


Can I freeze ice-packs on site?

We do not freeze your own ice-packs, but do provide ice-packs for a deposit, and 20p per freeze. We will, however, freeze your own blocks for use on your journey home.


Can we do our laundry?

Yes. We have both automatic washing machines, and front load driers, both of which take £1 coins. Cost: £3 for a wash - £2 for a dry. Washing time: approx. 50 minutes. Drying time approximately 35 minutes.


Do you charge for showers?

No. Both showers and hot water are free.


Do you charge batteries?

Yes, for mobile phones, laptops and leisure batteries. A charge is made for this service.


Do you have hair-driers on site?

Yes. Both hair and hand-driers are provided free in our main amenity block.


Do you give refunds?

No. Please see our Terms and Conditions which explains our Cancellation Policy.


Is there a public telephone on site?

No. The nearest phone is in Berrynarbor village, approximately half a mile distant. We will of course always help in emergency situations.


If it’s raining, or there is bad weather can I have a refund?

We do not give refunds for inclement weather. Similarly we do not charge extra for sunshine.


How far is the nearest beach?

Broadsands Beach is 200m and 200 steps from our Park. Watermouth Harbour is 500m by footpath from the Park. Combe Martin beach is just over 1 mile from our Park by coastal footpath, or car.


Where can we go fishing?

Course fishing is available in several locations near our Park. A favourite spot for sea fishing is the beach and rocks opposite our Park, or boat fishing trips are readily available from Ilfracombe, 4 miles along the coast by car.


How far is the nearest pub?

We have our own pub on site. Alternatively, there are many local pubs nearby.


What if we arrive late?

If you are delayed for any reason, please let us know so that we can hold the pitch for you. Please note: Our latest pitching time is 9 pm. This is for safety reasons, and so that our other guests are not disturbed after dark. If you do not arrive by 9 pm it is entirely your responsibility to make alternative arrangements.


What if Reception is closed when I arrive?

Closing times do vary throughout the season, but there will always be a notice on the Reception door giving instructions to describe what to do.


What is an All-Service pitch?

This is our premium pitch, providing a hard-stand, slabs or chippings on the awning area, together with electric, water, and grey-waste connections.


Will I have a sea view?

Almost all our pitches have lovely sea views. Some overlook our beautiful countryside, and have partial sea views.


Do you accept same-sex groups?

No. We do not take groups of more than 2 persons of the same sex.


Is there a charge for the swimming pool or tennis court?

No. These are free for patrons only.


Can my young children use the pool without supervision?

No, most definitely not. Without exception, any person 15 yrs. old, or younger, MUST be accompanied by a parent.


What if I have visitors?

Visitors must check in at Reception and pay the appropriate day-visitor rate.


What if I have a complaint?

We hope this situation will not arise, but if something is not to your satisfaction, we will want to correct it as soon as possible, if it is within our powers to do so. So, please tell us straight away. Do not tell us at the end of your holiday, or when you get home.
